城市规划中的智慧城市与大数据 | 2019IKCEST-iCity国际培训班成功举办

为进一步落实联合国教科文组织国际工程科技知识中心(IKCEST)知识服务系统的推广与应用,交流城市规划前沿成果,IKCEST和同济大学建筑与城市规划学院于2019年10月23日-10月27日在上海共同举办“城市规划中的智慧城市与大数据——2019年国际培训班”。

In order to further promote the International Knowledge Centre for Engineering Sciences and Technology under the Auspices of UNESCO (IKCEST)  and the knowledge of urban planning, IKCEST and the College of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tongji University jointly held the training programme 2019 International Training Workshop for Innovative Training on Smart City and Big Data in Urban Planning  in Shanghai from October 23 to October 27, 2019.

中国工程院院士、同济大学副校长吴志强出席了开班仪式并作致辞。来自阿富汗、阿根廷、孟加拉国、中国、埃塞俄比亚、德国、印度、意大利、日本、马来西亚、墨西哥、尼泊尔、塞拉利昂、韩国、西班牙、苏丹、美国等17个国家的24名留学生参加此次培训班,其中男性学员15人,女性学员9人。

The Member of Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) and Vice President of Tongji University, Prof. Wu Zhiqiang, attended the opening ceremony and delivered an opening remark. The workshop attracted 24 trainees from more than 17 countries including Afghanistan, Argentina, Bangladesh, China, Ethiopia, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Sierra Leone, South Korea, Spain, Sudan, United States, comprising of 15 men and 9 women.

    吴志强表示,人类大都市正面临着“城市与自然的冲突”、“多系统间的冲突”、“历史遗产与未来发展的冲突”这三大挑战。吴志强自2014年起便带领团队通过人工智能学习识别全球城市,研发“城市树”为研究整个世界的人类城市问题作支撑。他希望学员能够通过新时代技术的开拓创新,结合世界的智慧,共同努力,为推动智能城市的发展做贡献。

Professor Wu said that cities are faced with three big challenges: “the conflict between city and nature , the conflict between multiple systems, and the conflict between historical heritage and its future development . Since 2014, Professor Wu has led a team to identify the characteristics of global cities through artificial intelligence and developed City Tree for the study of the cities all over the world. He hoped that the students make joint efforts to promote the development of smart cities with the advancement and innovation of the cutting-edge technologies.

开班仪式后学员逐一进行自我介绍,增加了对彼此的了解,为后续课程的顺利进行打下了良好的基础。

After the opening ceremony, the trainees introduced themselves one by one, which increased their understanding of each other and laid a good foundation for the smooth progress of the following courses.

本期培训班在前期学员招收阶段吸引了大量的国际学生报名,经过专家的层层把关,最终选定了24位学员入围培训。此次培训采用课堂授课与实践活动相结合的方式对学员进行教学培训。培训班调动精兵强将作为助教,邀请世界顶尖的专家学者授课和担当评委,再加上高效的活动组织和管理,本次培训班取得了非常好的效果,得到了所有培训学员和专家的高度肯定。

The programme attracted a large number of applicants from many countries and a total of 24 students were on the shortlist for training. The programme combined class teaching, group discussion and field visit. It was a big success and was highly praised by the participants not only because of the efficient organization and management but also the fact that the world’s top scholars and experts were invited as lecturers and judges for the programme, and the teaching assistants were also very qualified and dedicated.

中国工程院院士吴志强教授、德国工程院院士Otthein Herzog教授、同济大学曹布阳教授、谢俊民副教授、周新刚助理教授、沈尧博士等分别就人工智能与城市规划、IKCEST建设理念和发展概述、人工智能与智慧城市、城市感知模型及可视化、环境规划、未来城市规划等相关内容给学员们做了精彩授课。学员们认真听讲,并积极与老师互动,提出具有批判性的观点。智能城市是当今的热点话题,此次培训带来的饕餮学术盛宴充分点燃了学员们对于智能城市的热情,高度契合IKCEST-iCity的“在全球范围内传播智能城市知识”的精神。

CAE Member Wu Zhiqiang, Professor Otthein Herzog, Fellow of the German Academy of Science and Engineering, Professor Cao Buyang, Associate Professor Xie Junmin,  Assistant Professor Zhou Xingang, and Dr. Shen Yao from Tongji University respectively introduced artificial intelligence and urban planning, IKCEST founding philosophy and current practice, artificial intelligence and smart cities, urban perception models and visualization, environmental planning, future urban planning and other related content. The trainees listened carefully and actively interacted with the lecturers to present critical views. Smart city is a hot topic today, the academic feast brought by this training has fully ignited the students' enthusiasm for smart cities and is highly compatible with IKCEST-iCity's spirit of “transmitting smart city knowledge on a global scale”.

      课下讨论环节中,学员们分成三至四人一组,结合自己的家乡对智慧城市评价体系进行有趣而生动讨论。助教老师与学员们进行了面对面的交流互动,对小组选题提出了针对性的建议。

During the off-class discussion, the students were divided into several groups, each of which consists of three or four members, and had discussion on the evaluation system of smart city based on their hometown. The teaching assistants had a face-to-face interaction with the trainees and put forward suggestions on the topic for discussion.

成果验收-10月25日(丰硕的成果)

Results - October 25 (fruitful results)

学员们在IKCEST平台进行了在线考试,并以小组形式向老师和同学们汇报智慧城市讨论成果,并对未来城市发展做出畅想。

Participants conducted online exams on the IKCEST platform, and gave presentations on their thoughts on smart cities and the development of cities in the future.

经过三天紧张而忙碌的学习,学员们圆满完成了各项学习任务并且通过了结业考试,获得了IKCEST和同济大学联合颁发的结业证书。

After three days of study, the trainees completed all the courses and passed the graduation examination before being conferred graduation certificates jointly issued by IKCEST and Tongji University.

城市徒步-10月26-27日

City tour - October 26-27

城市是复杂的巨系统,理论需要结合实践才能更好地认识城市。通过前三天的理论知识集中学习,学员们对于智能城市的知识有了基本的了解。本次培训组织学员通过城市徒步的形式,真实感受城市,升华对城市的认识。

The city is a complex giant system, and the trainees need to combine theory with practice to better understand the city. Through the previous three days of theoretical knowledge learning, the trainees had a basic understanding of the knowledge of smart cities. With field visit,the students would feel the city directly and better understand it.

 10月26日学员们参观了上海市嘉定新城及其城市规划展览馆,并参观了嘉定旧城进行比较分析,最后在嘉定新城中心保利大剧院周边徒步,实地调研了上海城郊卫星城的历史、作用与未来发展。

On October 26th, the participants visited Anting New Town, Jiading New Town, and visited the Jiading Old Town for comparative analysis. Finally, they walked around the Poly Theatre in Jiading New Town Center to investigate the history, role and future development of Shanghai Satellite Town and project future development.

10月27日学员们还参观了上海市浦东新区的世博会园区、世博轴及中华艺术宫,感受大事件的城市场景,探索大体量的城市和建筑,漫步浦江城市滨水空间,参观业遗产转型的成功案例。世博会园区由吴志强院士主持设计,学员们学习了解了园区的设计构思、后续利用现状及方案。最后,大家参观了由刘悦来老师发起的社区花园项目,把景观营造的主动权还给居民,使都市里“归园田居”的梦想成为可能。

On October 27th, the participants also visited the Expo Park, Expo Axis and China Arts Museum in Pudong New Area of Shanghai, which was designed by the Wu Zhiqiang during Shanghai Expo 2010. They felt the urban transformation influenced by the big event, explored the massive scale of cities and buildings, strolled the waterfront space of riverside, and got to know the successful industrial heritage transformation stories. The participants learned about the design concept, the status quo and the plan for the post-expo use of the Park. Finally, everyone visited the community garden project initiated by Professor Liu Yuelai, which aims at return the building right of landscape back to the residents, making the dream of “returning to the garden” in the city possible.

Summary and reflections

在针对培训和平台使用的问卷分析调查中,所有学员给予了高度的评价,并感谢老师们带来精彩纷呈的讲座。他们表示将来会把所学知识运用到学习和工作中,并不断探索新的方法,建设更智慧的城市。

In the questionnaire concerning the training programme and the IKCEST platform, the trainees all gave a high evaluation and expressed their praise and thanks to the teachers for their wonderful lectures. The participants said that they would apply the knowledge they have learned to their study and work, and continue to explore cities and new technologies in the future.


      IKCEST是联合国教科文组织下属二类中心,2014年6月在北京成立,依托中国工程院建设,旨在面向世界各国尤其是发展中国家的政策制定者、广大工程科技工作者提供咨询、科研、教育等知识服务。

      IKCEST is a category II centre under theauspices of UNESCO. IKCEST was established on June 2, 2014. The Chinese Academyof Engineering is responsible for the operation and management of the IKCEST. IKCEST aims at providing knowledge-based services at a global scale in the formof consultation, scientific research and education for policy-makers andengineering science and technology professionals in the world, with particularreference to the developing countries.
